National Workshops for Creative Teachers

ukadia is pleased to announce a suite of free teacher CPD sessions exclusively for schools who work with members.

As members will know engagement with schools is high on the Government’s WP agenda, and it is hoped that these coordinated sessions will help members better understand the needs of teachers within the arts disciplines. With the erosion of traditional art education in schools it is vital that our specialist institutions support teachers to embed creative skills in the curriculum for young people.

These workshops play a small part in how members are engaging and supporting schools, but we hope a coordinated approach will enable us to better understand how arts education is developing, and how we can better support pupils, teachers and families in the pursuit of creative excellence.

Workshops will be held throughout June and July at a wide range of institutions. Full details of events, along with information on how to take part can be found here.
